Christian Poem by Theresa Stinnett~No Greater Love

No greater love has ever been,

Than His who died for me.

Who called me friend,

Though I had sinned.

Whose blood has made me free.

No greater love has any man,

Such a wonderful gift he gave.

He was led to a cross,

Nailed to die,

He gave his life to save.

No greater love was ever seen,

Than His who heavenward flew.

For he broke deaths chain,

When he rose up again.

Our souls he did renew.

 Who is this man?

Who died for the world?

Who conquered even the grave?

 Who was it,

Who could still the storms?

And settle every wave?

No greater love has ever been,

Than His who did these things.

Run and take thy shelter ‘neath,

The shadow of his wings.

 For this is Christ, Emanuel,

The King of kings divine.

This is Christ, the Lord of lords,

Whose love forever shines.
